Polypropylene Pipes – Random (PP-R)

The PP-R pipes are of three-layer 4th generation with mechanical reinforcement of glass in the middle layer. Polypropylene is of special crystallinity (PP-R 112) and exhibits high mechanical strength, especially at high temperatures and long life duration. In addition, PP-R ensures both the high sound reduction and the limitation of its propagation through the pipes.

Advantages
  • High resistance of pipes and fittings to hydraulic shocks (Breaking pressure above 130 bar at ambient temperature)
  • Lifetime over 50 years at 20-90 °C and operating pressures from 6-26 bar.
  • Temperature peaks of 110 °C at a working pressure of 4 bar don’t affect the system.
  • Excellent corrosion resistance. Very good behavior in areas where water is very hard.
  • Low thermal conductivity resulting in reduced heat loss in hot water networks.
